CogLab Room
A dedicated space equipped with cognitive testing tools and experimental equipment for hands-on work in memory, attention, perception, and problem-solving.
Counseling Room
A private, comfortable, and confidential environment where trained counsellors provide emotional support, guidance, and therapeutic services to students and staff.
Smart Classrooms
Interactive digital displays enable multimedia presentations, real-time collaboration, and engaging instructional activities — a modern, technology-rich classroom experience.

Available for digital learning and academic productivity — accessing online resources, conducting assessments, preparing reports, and engaging with interactive learning tools. Use is tracked through a systematic register for transparency.

The department supports accurate evaluation across cognitive, emotional, personality, and behavioural domains — for both children and adults. Practical training on these instruments forms a core strand of the M.A. programme.

The department occupies the fourth floor of Elphinstone College, at 156 Mahatma Gandhi Road, Fort. Ten to fifteen minutes on foot from CSMT and Churchgate — and a short walk from the David Sassoon Library, the Asiatic Society, and the Kala Ghoda art district.
